CoordinAider

The CoordiAider is an innovative all-terrain vehicle (ATV) designed for efficient rescue and patient transport. Controlled by on-site first responders, it follows predetermined rescue routes identified by CoordOS that can be chosen by the controller. Following the predetermined route to the identified victim, the CoordinAider will deploy its patient loading system that can safely and efficiently extract the identified victim. Using its advanced suspension-equipped chassis, the CoordinAider can ensure victim safety during transport.

ATV Base & Chassis

The robust base and chassis of the CoordinAider are crafted to withstand the rigors of off-road conditions. Featuring a metal tracked chassis combined with a sophisticated suspension mechanism, this design minimizes turbulence and mechanical vibrations, enhancing ride comfort, and preventing victim re-injury during transport.

Patient Loading System

By utilizing a conveyor belt-ramp mechanism, victims can be safely loaded onto the CoordinAider ATV safely and efficiently. The ATV is mounted with a polyurethane foam mattress that is heat-resistant and comfortable, preventing victim re-injury while on the vehicle. Above the foam is the PVC belt to ensure the conveyor belt moves properly. A layer of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) sheet is added on top of the PVC belt, acting as a one-time-use solution for blood absorption to prevent victim cross-contamination.

Disclaimer: In our 1:4 prototype, we are only using the PVC belt. For the actual 1:1 version, we will have the polyurethane foam, PVC belt and SAP sheet (sheet on top).
